How bidding works
We run our sales on Proxibid, an online auction marketplace used across the country. Buyers in the United States and other countries bid online. Here's exactly what happens, start to finish.
Why you'll see Proxibid
When you click “Bid on Proxibid”, you leave our site and go to Proxibid, where the bidding happens. Our seller name there is “Anva Auto Group LLC – Next Auto Auctions”. If you ever see a different name or get asked to pay someone else, call us before you bid.
-
Create your bidder account
Register for free on Proxibid. A $500 refundable deposit/hold is required to bid with us. It's released afterward or applied to your invoice; your bank may take up to 30 days to release it.
-
Do your homework
Review the photos and condition notes, run a vehicle history report, and call us with any questions. Vehicles are sold as-is, with no warranty.
-
Bid with your total in mind
Use the total-cost calculator before you bid, so you know exactly what you'll pay including fees. If you are the top bidder and the seller accepts your bid, including by removing the reserve, you must pay. All bids are final.
-
Pay within 3 business days
Payment is due in full by 4:59 pm Arizona time on the 3rd business day after the sale.
-
Pick up your vehicle
Each listing shows the pickup location. Bring a valid ID and arrange transportation in a timely manner. Titles are mailed after payment clears, usually in 3–5 business days. You'll need your own registration or temporary tag to drive the vehicle away.
Before you bid
If you are the top bidder and the seller accepts your bid, you bought the vehicle and you must pay. That includes when the reserve was not met and the seller removes the reserve and takes your bid. A missed reserve is not a way out after the seller accepts. If the seller does not accept the bid, you did not buy the vehicle.
On the lane, sold, sold, sold means the seller accepted and you must pay. If the reserve is not met, you will hear that your bid is on the call. Good luck. You are still responsible if the seller decides to sell.
If you do not pay by the deadline, the $500 registration deposit can be kept, and a relisting penalty of 10% of the purchase ($500 minimum) applies. Bid only up to an amount you can pay in full.

Common questions
Do I need a dealer license?
No. Our auctions are open to the public.
Is there sales tax?
Yes, unless valid tax-exemption forms are on file with us before the auction. Buyers in another U.S. state can use Arizona Form 5011. Buyers outside the United States should call us before the auction about tax.
Can I bid from outside the United States?
Yes. Create your Proxibid account and bid online. Payment is in U.S. dollars. Each listing shows the pickup city, and you arrange transportation. Call us before you bid if you have a question about the title.
Can I return a vehicle?
All sales are final and vehicles are sold as-is. The one exception: if we don't receive the title within 45 days, you may return the vehicle at your own expense.
Do vehicles have a reserve price?
Sellers may set a minimum price (reserve). Every listing says whether the vehicle has a reserve and shows when the reserve is met; the amount itself stays private. If the reserve is not met, the seller can remove it and sell to the top bidder. If the seller accepts that bid, the top bidder has bought the vehicle and must pay. A missed reserve is not a reason to walk away after the seller accepts. If the seller does not accept the bid, you did not buy the vehicle.
Can the seller or the auction bid on a vehicle?
No. No one bids on a seller's vehicle on the seller's behalf: not the seller, not our auctioneers, not our staff. Every bid comes from a real buyer.
What does “runs and drives” mean?
At inspection, the vehicle started, could be put in gear, and moved forward under its own power. It is not a guarantee that the vehicle is road-worthy or will start at pickup.
